According to 9to5Mac, Apple confirms technical Wi-Fi issues on its iPad of last generation.
Indeed, about 700 users have been complaining about iPad 3 Wi-Fi issues ranging from connection drops, slow download and upload speeds, or the device’s inability to even pickup local Wi-Fi networks. Apple has taken notice and has admitted internally the Wi-Fi issues: “symptoms can include, but are not limited to: intermittent connectivity, slow WiFi speeds, and WiFi network not seen.”
Only iPad 3 Wi-Fi should be affected. Apple will replace defective units.
Morality: do never buy a new product before bugs be fixed. And in spite of its quality control, Apple does not go against the rule.
